Our Heritage....Our Merchandise.....Our Commitment
Founded on the principles of "neighbors helping neighbors" Roscoe "Jude" & Marjorie Eller opened the Eller Funeral Home in 1961. Our mission remains the same today, helping families during difficult times. We continue to offer our families services that are simple, practical, & affordable.
In 1985, Jim & Joanne Weston purchased the funeral home from the Eller's, later becoming the Eller-Weston Funeral Home. Their son & daughter-in-law, Greg & Mary Weston worked several years with Jim & Joanne in the family business.
In 1995, Mr. Dustin Miller purchased the business from the Weston's and continued on the Eller-Weston traditions. The Miller's and Weston's worked together to help families during their time of need.
In 2000, Jim Archer purchased the business from Dustin Miller. Since that time the funeral home's name has been changed to Archer-Weston, and Debra Archer has joined her husband in the day to day operation of the funeral home. Together with Jim Weston, the Archer's continue helping families with the same goals and ideas that the Eller family founded the business on.
We continue to strive to meet the needs of families with many different service options and merchandise. We have recently combined computer technology with state of the art merchandising components offering a variety of items to assist in planning a meaningful ceremony. You will find that our funeral resource room provides a non-threatening atmosphere to help you in your planning. You will find plenty of items including, caskets, urns, burial vaults, cremation vaults, memorial register books, stationery, video tributes, memory portraits, monuments, memorial jewelry, keepsake items, and personalization products including cap panels and memory plaques.
We believe our commitment is first and foremost helping you. Making things easier for you, whether you desire traditional burial or cremation, our commitment to you remains the same. Our families experience only the highest standards in service, and our commitment remains the same following the service. Our aftercare program continues assisting our families in their journey through the "transition period" following a death, and we are there at every step along that journey. Our continual care provides useful information in our quarterly newsletters "The Beacon" and "Home & Family". We also continue to provide useful information as a community resource through our "Lunch & Learn Program".
